Course Description

The BA in Music is designed for students who want to explore music from both creative and academic perspectives. The programme covers areas such as music theory, music history, composition, performance, and music technology. Students develop musical skills while also learning about the cultural and historical significance of music. Graduates can pursue careers as performers, music educators, composers, music producers, or work in the broader music and entertainment industry.

Admission Requirements

English: Level 4
Life Orientation: Level 4
Level 5 in one of the following subjects (Bus Stud, Cons Stud, Dram Arts, Econ, Geo, Hist, IT, Life Sci, Maths, Maths Lit, Music, Religion, Vis Arts, Any Lang HL/FAL)
