Course Description

The BA in Heritage and Cultural Tourism Management focuses on the preservation, promotion, and management of cultural heritage sites and tourism experiences. Students learn about heritage conservation, tourism planning, cultural resource management, and the social and economic impact of tourism. The programme also explores how historical sites, museums, and cultural traditions can be managed sustainably while attracting visitors. Graduates can work in heritage institutions, museums, tourism organizations, cultural sites, and government tourism departments.

Admission Requirements

English: Level 4
Life Orientation: Level 4
Level 5 in one of the following subjects (Bus Stud, Cons Stud, Dram Arts, Econ, Geo, Hist, IT, Life Sci, Maths, Maths Lit, Music, Religion, Vis Arts, Any Lang HL/FAL)
