Walter Sisulu University (WSU) is a public university located in the Eastern Cape and was established in 2005 through the merger of Border Technikon, Eastern Cape Technikon, and the University of Transkei. Higher Certificate Programmes at WSU

Higher Certificate courses are ideal for students with a National Senior Certificate (NSC) who may not meet degree or diploma admission requirements. These one-year programs provide foundational knowledge and skills for specific career paths or further study.
