Who Should Apply? (Minimum Requirements)
Ekurhuleni West TVET College is looking for dedicated graduates who meet the following criteria:
- You must have completed Matric (Grade 12).
- You must hold a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in either Psychology OR Social Sciences.
- Important: If you have previously completed an internship with any government institution or public sector entity, you are unfortunately not eligible to apply for this specific programme.
What You'll Be Doing: Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will play a crucial supportive role within the Employee Health and Wellness function of the college. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to various aspects of workplace wellness, including:
- Assisting in the coordination and implementation of various health and wellness programmes.
- Providing basic counselling and staff support, always under the guidance and supervision of experienced professionals.
- Performing essential administrative duties related to wellness initiatives, ensuring smooth operations.
- Supporting the team with wellness assessments and data collection.
- Contributing to reporting on wellness initiatives, offering insights into programme effectiveness.
This role provides valuable exposure to Employee Assistance Programmes (EAP), staff wellbeing initiatives, and HR wellness administration, setting a strong foundation for your future career.
