  • Senior and Returning Students can register from 12 January to 6 February 2025. Mark these dates in your calendar to ensure you secure your spot for the upcoming academic year.
  • First-Year Students should prepare to register between 13 January and 6 February 2026. Please note that these dates are subject to change depending on when Grade 12 results are released, so stay alert for any updates from the university.

Mandatory First-Year Orientation

First-year students, your orientation is not optional—it's mandatory! The orientation will run in two phases:

  • Online Phase: 21-31 January
  • In-Person Phase: 3-7 February

An information pack and calendar are available to help you navigate this crucial introduction to university life. These sessions will equip you with essential knowledge about campus facilities, academic expectations, and student support services.

Student Access Cards Collection

From 14 January to 6 February, between 08:00 and 15:30, you can collect your student access cards at the following locations:

  • Kingsway Campus: D1 Lab 208
  • Bunting Road Campus: Con Cowan Building, 2nd floor (remember to bring your own device)
  • Doornfontein Campus: Samsung venue, 2nd floor, QK building
  • Soweto Campus: GNA09, Robert Sobukwe building
